Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units under clinical supervision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to charge nurses
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge protocols
- Adhere to all hospital policies, JCAHO standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Current Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
