Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care according to established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and infection control procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
- Utilize Epic EHR for documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with AZ endorsement)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Completion of nursing clinical rotations or residency program preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
