Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient-centered plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
- Active DC RN license or eligibility for immediate licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Passion for patient advocacy and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/nights
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Recent graduates (within 1 year) are encouraged to apply
