Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units following established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting in EMR systems
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active WA RN license (or compact license)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotations or 1+ years of RN experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
