Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned units (ER, Med-Surg, ICU)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active Louisiana RN license (required)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
- Passion for underserved communities (NOLA focus)
