Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations following ACLS protocols
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from accredited program
- Active Nebraska RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
