Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and safety compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact license eligibility)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- CPR/BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Basic computer proficiency for EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
