Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units (Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or ICU based on training)
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or eligible by start date)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation or externship experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible shift schedules
