Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient progress accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in accordance with hospital protocols and OSHA standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure and execute appropriate interventions.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
