Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments and care plans using EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee
- ASN or BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduation within the last 12 months or 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
