Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately in EHR systems
- Administer medications and treatments while maintaining strict infection control standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active Ohio RN license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation or externship experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
