Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient vitals according to established protocols.
- Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care plans.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and apply critical thinking to resolve patient care issues in real-time.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and rights of every individual in our care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications preferred or required within 6 months of hire.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient-centric interaction.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical equipment.
- Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
