Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units while adhering to evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations under physician protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona RN license or ability to obtain immediately
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for patient-centered care and continuous learning
