Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned units following established protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations safely and accurately
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in emergency response drills and code situations
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida RN license (or eligible)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Basic EHR proficiency (Epic EMR preferred)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Passion for patient advocacy and cultural sensitivity
