Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress using advanced electronic health record systems
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while documenting all interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict infection control and safety standards in all clinical settings
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Current Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain within 60 days
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (training provided if needed)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
