Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound treatment, and IV therapy
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in shift handovers and safety drills
- Assist in emergency response situations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia RN license (or compact license with NC endorsement)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic EHR proficiency (experience with Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
