Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and progress in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required
- Active AZ RN license or compact eligibility
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (within 12 months)
- BLS certification (required) and ACLS preferred
- Basic computer proficiency and EHR experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
