Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls and determine urgency using established triage protocols
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely patient care
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding home care or emergency department arrival
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all communications
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance clinical assessment skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Recent nursing graduate or Associate/Bachelor's in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
