Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments via phone and in-person triage
- Determine medical urgency and prioritize patient cases accurately
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients during critical situations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Stay current with emergency protocols and healthcare regulations
- Support patients and families through stressful medical situations
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or currently enrolled)
- Active RN license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to complete specialized triage training program
