What You Will Do:
- Manage the full revenue cycle, from claim submission to payment collection.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits to prevent claim denials.
- Accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10 and CPT guidelines.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and handle appeals process for rejected submissions.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries and financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit clean claims to commercial and government payers.
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements to identify and correct errors.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal billing policies.
- Utilize the provided equipment to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with the office manager to streamline billing operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional medical billing experience.
- Current CPC, COC, or CBCS certification is highly preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office and billing software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional office meetings).
