Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and medication administration.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient management.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient progress, respond to changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Champion patient safety and adhere strictly to infection control protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care coordination efforts.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant medical technologies.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
