Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and manage digital imaging systems
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Maintain precise dental records and inventory management
- Oversee infection control protocols and clinic sanitation
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency during appointments
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid North Carolina dental radiography permit
