Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument availability
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate scheduling and maintain accurate digital patient records
- Support office administration including inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant Radiography certification (RAD)
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging systems (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume practice
- Associates degree or certificate from accredited program preferred
