Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Perform chairside assistance with advanced dental technology
- Handle patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication skills and patient demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks preferred
