Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument inventory
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate seamless scheduling and patient flow between operatories
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Active California RDA license or Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of digital radiography (DEXIS/Sirona) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and OSHA bloodborne pathogens training
- Exceptional chairside assistance for multiple specialties
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instrumentation
- Outstanding communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with attention to detail
