Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Perform chairside duties including instrument sterilization and equipment maintenance
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education materials
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or OK state license)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient communication
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
