Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and oral surgery
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument sterilization
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or expanded functions license (Oklahoma)
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry setting
- Mastery of digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
