Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays and perform infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using dental software (Epic experience preferred)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain dental operatory equipment
- Provide chairside assistance during complex restorative procedures
- Administer topical anesthetics and fluoride treatments
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
