Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative work
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Manage patient charts and electronic dental records (EDR)
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verifications
- Assist in infection control protocols and biohazard management
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix EDR systems
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Spanish language proficiency highly preferred
