Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental impressions and develop radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas per OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling and chairside coordination
- Perform inventory management and order dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist with digital record-keeping and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Minnesota
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
