Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine priority of care
- Provide accurate clinical guidance via phone triage and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Manage patient flow and resource allocation in emergency settings
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Respond effectively to critical situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
