Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor patient health status.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to improve the client's quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Document care activities accurately and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA is preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for caregiving.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
