Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures with precision and efficiency
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient flow and ensure seamless appointment transitions
- Document clinical notes and maintain digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education with warmth
- Order supplies and inventory materials to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Active RDA license or X-Ray certification in California
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends (3-4 day schedule)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Commitment to infection control protocols and patient safety
