Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suction, and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain organized inventory of dental supplies
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Update patient records in our practice management software
- Coordinate seamless communication between patients and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and occasional Saturdays
