Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient scheduling with flexible hour coordination
- Maintain accurate digital and paper patient records
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Order and inventory dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Alaska Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in dental settings
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR certification (BLS preferred)
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
