Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage for accuracy before dispensing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels of pharmaceutical products.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process returns, refunds, and handle payments efficiently.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies regarding pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligibility to sit for the PTCB or ExCPT exam.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy software systems.
