Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and MedSurg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Adhere to NY state nursing regulations and hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication channels
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts on variable schedules
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
