Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations to determine urgency and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to develop appropriate treatment plans and coordinate referrals
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient education on symptoms, medications, and preventive care protocols
- Manage high-volume call centers with efficiency and empathy during peak hours
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and triage protocol updates
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Proven experience in triage, emergency medicine, or urgent care settings
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling
