Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Verify and enter patient information into the pharmacy software system.
- Assist pharmacists with medication therapy management and compounding.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer questions regarding prescriptions.
- Process insurance claims and collect copayments.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible for Florida Board of Pharmacy registration.
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong understanding of drug interactions and pharmaceutical terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
