Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop/update care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments following OSHA standards
- Transport patients safely using proper transfer techniques
- Deliver emotional support to patients and family members
- Complete accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in acute or long-term care
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear TB test and negative drug screen results
- Reliable transportation to multiple SF locations
- Proficiency with EHR systems (preferred: Epic, Cerner)
