Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic patient support
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Support emotional well-being through active patient engagement
- Participate in care planning meetings to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication skills and empathy
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
