Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care notes
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Transport patients safely to therapy sessions and social activities
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient rooms and common areas
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop personalized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passion for geriatric care and patient advocacy
