Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including hospitals and specialty clinics
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility-specific protocols
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and rapid assessment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, ICU, Med-Surg preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
