Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in alignment with evidence-based practices and facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia (compact license accepted)
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or specialty unit
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
