Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency, medical-surgical, or specialty units
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific regulations
- Triage patients and prioritize care in fast-paced environments
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in assigned specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic or EMR documentation systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical settings
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
