Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support nutritional needs including meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or hospital setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with commitment to patient dignity
- Clear TB test and background check required
