Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units with evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care planning
- Provide patient education on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree or Associate's with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
