Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with evidence-based practices and unit-specific protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while ensuring patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proven experience in acute care, telemetry, or ICU setting
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit needs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records
