Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with flexible scheduling options
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia or compact state
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in medical/surgical units
- BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Ability to adapt to flexible weekend scheduling (6AM-10PM shifts)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
