Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine care urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient education on health conditions and preventive care
- Triage emergency cases and coordinate transfers to specialized facilities
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department efficiency
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
